Today, the military remains in complete control of the Egyptian state. Sisi and his military supporters have brought the judiciary under political control and use it to punish any dissent as \u201cterrorism.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>within two days, even at the path to the military unit, not at the [exact] place \u2026 and a separate door with \u2018Ministry of Interior\u2019 written on it or something like that.\u201d A voice interrupts saying: \u201cGuys\u2014we just have to build a building!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The voices are attributed to military generals, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2015\/5\/12\/analysis-backs-veracity-of-leaked-egypt-recordings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leaked conversations<\/a> that seemed to take place in the months after the military coup of July 3, 2013. The recordings surfaced and aired on December 4, 2014.
