Egypt

Egypt advanced two ranks in the annual report issued by Transparency International on the Global Corruption Index for 2020, where its evaluation became 33 points out of 100, which is a progress compared to last year, where Egypt’s evaluation was 35 points.
Egypt ranked 117th out of 180 countries, while it ranked 11th among the Arab countries. The UAE topped the list of Arab anti-corruption countries, followed by Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Tunisia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt, while Syria, Yemen and Somalia were at the bottom of the Arab and international list for 2020
