The national average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas on Wednesday is $3.803, up from $3.780 on Tuesday and $3.687 a week ago, according to AAA.

Maryland

The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Maryland is $3.778, up from $3.768 on Tuesday. One week ago, the price was $3.684.

Virginia

The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Virginia is $3.642. On Tuesday, the price was $3.610, and this time last week, it was much lower at $3.498.

Washington, D.C.

The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Washington, D.C., is $3.940, up from $3.936 on Tuesday. Last week, it was much lower at $3.820.

California

The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in California is significantly above the national average and has skyrocketed to $5.025. On Tuesday, the price was $5.011, and one week ago, it was $4.920.

New York

In New York, the average price is $3.868, up from $3.839 on Tuesday. Last week, it was much lower at $3.748.

Texas

The average price in Texas is rising quickly but continues to sit below the national average at $3.483. On Tuesday, the price was $3.460, and last week, it was $3.367.
